The Lang Gathering brings a small group of selected travel trade professionals to Old Raahe for two days inside the world of Lang Resort.
You will stay in a historic merchant’s house, walk onto the frozen Bothnian Bay, share dinner with the Lady of the House, discover the stories of Old Raahe and experience Finnish sauna culture by the sea.
Along the way, there will also be time to talk about your customers, your Finland programmes and how Lang Resort could fit into them.
TWO DAYS AT LANG
Day 1: Experience The Finnish Winter
Arrive in Old Town Raahe and step straight into the northern winter. The afternoon takes you onto the frozen Bothnian Bay for Winter by the Sea.
Try ice fishing. Warm up by the fire with coffee. Listen to the silence of the frozen sea.
Later, return to Lang Resort, settle into your historic room and join us for one of Lang’s signature experiences:
The Lady of the House Dinner
An evening of food, stories and the atmosphere of a historic Finnish merchant’s house.
TWO DAYS AT LANG
Day 2: Step Inside The Story
After breakfast, discover the stories behind Old Raahe and the world that created Lang.
In the Footsteps of Merchants
Explore Old Raahe and hear how merchants, sailors and families shaped the town during the golden age of sail.
After lunch, experience two different expressions of Finnish sauna culture.
Captain’s Sauna and Seaside Sauna
The group will rotate between the two experiences, giving you the opportunity to see how sauna can become a distinctive part of a Finland programme.
The day ends with a short Lang Resort product session and an informal conversation about how the destination could work for your guests.

Oulu Airport → Raahe approximately 1 hour by car
Helsinki Airport → Raahe approximately 6 hours by train, 8 hours by car
Rovaniemi Airport → Raahe approximately 3 hours by train, 3.5 hours by car
The location makes Lang easy to combine with:

The Lang Gathering is an intimate, hosted experience for selected international tour operators and travel trade professionals.
Participation is limited to 10 guests, allowing time for personal encounters, meaningful conversations and a genuine introduction to Lang Resort.
Applications close 22 November 2026.
