At Lang, food and hospitality belong together. Today, that tradition lives in two very different settings: the historic Langin Kauppahuone and the new Lang Old Fire Station.
One welcomes you into the world of the old merchant house. The other brings a new restaurant and gathering place into the world of Lang. Different in character, they share the same belief in good food, warm hospitality and the pleasure of gathering around the table.

Lang Old Fire Station will bring together lunch, à la carte dining and relaxed hospitality in a setting with a character entirely of its own — welcoming local people, travellers, groups and celebrations around the same table.

We are not trying to recreate the past on the plate. Instead, local food traditions provide a starting point for food that feels at home here — carefully prepared, generous and made to be shared.
For centuries, merchant houses were places where family, travellers, sailors and guests gathered around the same table. That spirit of hospitality continues at Lang today.
